Another part of my culture that I carry everyday.

Hello Classmates,

I wanted to share with you another part of my culture. My father's heritage is Cherokee Indian and most of the descendants within his family have an external feature that is the same. We all began to develop gray hair at a very young age. The funny part is that no one is fully gray but has remained with salt and pepper hair that you might have noticed in my blog photos. I began to develop this trait at the age of 12.

Aside from the gray hair reminder that I look at every morning, I have a tattoo that relates to my heritage. The number seven holds great importance to the Cherokee Indians. I am attaching a web link that gives a bit of information on that. I got a tribal tattoo that has seven points within the art work to represent this part of my history. It is hidden from site but serves as a reminder to me to always remember where you came from.
